Nick & Kerry

Hello all! Nick and I are busy figuring out ways to keep Beau Duke IN the yard. We do have a 5 foot fence but Houdini seems to be able to fly... ?? Nick has big plans - we'll let you know. Bailey is just fine!

Nick is easing into his new role as business developer and happier handling clients. I am starting another school year at Fairhill as a reading teacher for grades 3-6. Our test scores last year were great especially in reading so I am happy!

Hope everyone is happy and healthy!

Hello from Weymouth

Hi everyone!!

Just thought I'd try this out (Marcus - you have great ideas!) to share news of Penny. Penny has been discharged from the hospital where she spent 5 days recuperating from a bad back. I spoke to her earlier today and she's resting and hoping very much that her back will be healed by the time that she & Patrick plan to leave for their annual trip to the Cape. She will be checking her email off and on I'm sure that she'd love to hear from anyone!

On another note, Danny & Katelyn spent Wednesday night with us and we got to play all day on Thursday as Jim & I were off work. What fun! Although I must admit we were just a bit tired! We started off the day by taking them to Jim's favorite spot, Uncle Charlie's, for breakfast. The waitress greeted us with a bowl of whipped cream for each of the children (Jim told her that they liked whipped cream). They were also treated to not one, but two, lollipops when we left. Just in case their Mom & Dad read this, yes, they did eat breakfast in between. After that we walked up to the baseball field to play baseball and then we went to a museum in Cohasset for the afternoon. They had a large outdoor gym that was a lot of fun! The rest of the day we spent playing Chinese checkers, Lego, Play Tiles and Snakes & Ladders (on the computer). Thankfully, Mom came to pick them up so we could get some rest before work in the morning. Of course, we can't wait for the next time they spend the night!

Ann & Mairtin update

News from the O'Malley/O hAilin/Allen/whatever you want to call us Virginians,

Ann recently left the group practice she was with for the past 2 years and is now in her own private practice in Oakton, VA (http://www.annomalleyphd.com/ - website courtesy of Marcus O'Malley, Immerge Technologies!). Mairtin has also started his own company this year and is busy doing masonry contracting all over northern virginia (http://www.allenhomemasonry.com/ - website courtesy of Marcus O'Malley, Immerge Technologies!). We had Mairtin's brother & his wife visit from Ireland recently and took a trip with them out to Las Vegas/Grand Canyon. Looking forward to a few more visitors this fall (from Ireland) and then our trip up to Boston/Maine in October!

OCP Help

Last weekend we were over at Our Community Place again helping out. It was a lot of fun and was organized by one of the high schoolers that joined last time. I think she wants to do it monthly now. Very exciting stuff!

Babysitting Aidan

Hello all,

Not sure how this all works but thought I would share that I had a lovely day watching Aidan today! We went to the gym, playing at the playground, and worked on our Tonka sticker book. Hope everyone had as much fun as me!

Testing 1-2-3

Hey Ann, Kerry and I talked about setting up a blog so that anyone in the family can use and post information about what is going on in their world at any time. It is easier to keep up than trying to do a website! So let's do it up...
